Perched on a hillside just a short stroll from Skopelos Town’s seafront, this attractive and luxurious small hotel enjoys a privileged position with sweeping views across terracotta rooftops, the sparkling blue of the harbour and the pine-clad hills beyond. The Minno first opened its doors in 2025, and has already gained a reputation as the best boutique hotel on the island.

We have selected the Minno’s premium sea-view suites with Jacuzzi and the private pool suites for Simpson Travel guests, so you can enjoy a quiet dip to start your day, or just sit back and relax in the hot tub as the stars appear above. The Minno also has its own serene spa, inspired by the remains of the nearby Asklepieion – the original Greek wellness retreat – which dates back over 2000 years. The Minno’s modern version includes a steam room and whirlpool bath as well as luxury massage and beauty treatments to leave you feeling deeply refreshed and revitalized.

Breakfasts are a feast of local produce served with a backdrop of glorious sea views, and if you don’t want to move from this fabulous spot, there’s a bar open all day and an à la carte restaurant. You’ll almost certainly want to explore Skopelos Town however, which has a host of both traditional and more contemporary dining options clustered around the harbour and along its cobbled streets.

If all this sounds rather romantic, then it certainly is, but the Minno is also a great spot for a smaller family, with space for a child to share with you in certain room types. With restaurants, shops, cafes, local buses and the nearest beach all just a 5-minute walk away or less, the hotel is a perfect option for anyone looking for a chilled-out, car-free week, though car hire is strongly recommended if you’d like to visit the best beaches or explore more widely on Skopelos.

Skopelos Town is a Traditional Settlement of Outstanding Beauty, with a charming Chora (old town). White houses wreathed in bougainvillea line narrow cobbled streets that wind steeply down to the harbour. The Chora and port are packed with tavernas, restaurants and speciality shops, offering just enough to keep things interesting without being over-developed. Here, as elsewhere on the island, you can spot fragments of Ottoman and Venetian heritage in monasteries and churches, or simply sit down on the waterfront in the sunshine and watch the world go gently by.
